Partner's experiences in using this tool
The usefulness of a Codex has been duly proven with the development of a paper database in 2004, based on the legal inventory (Universiteit Gent, Maritime Institute, 2002, 2004). However, updates were not published regularly and printing costs were high. A cost-benefit analysis concluded that an digital platform could be more cost-efficient.
